The Groupies, self described as “Lower East Side scum” hail from manhattan, and this is their only single i believe, was released in 1966 on Atco. This sneering bluesy grunge is the epitome of garage-punk. This has been comped all over the place, most noticeably on Lenny Kaye’s infamous Nuggets.
